Once again a #scientificstudy showing that there is not a direct correlation among #higherwages and people #higher #workcommitment . In reality money is not a key motivator a work: motivation in the workplace depends upon many other contextual factors related to #leadership #irganizationalculture , #projectdynamics , #teamwork , #selfactualization within the work role, to name just some of such factors. Interesting article on the topic: 'Paying People More won't make them work harder, according to science' Many years ago Hertzberger pointed out simliar considerations while distinguishing between motivational 'satisfiers' and 'dissatisfiers' (see image).
