Lucca dedicating its first edition of the Innovation and Competitiveness award to Fabio Perini ; as many people I owe my personal and professional path to him and the organizational culture he created to foster young enterprising talents. It was moving and once again empowering to participate to this event.

Thanks also to Professor Silvio Bianchi Martini for pointing out the key historic traits that have made of Lucca and its surrounding areas a key reference for innovation, production and international entrepreneurship on a global stage in the paper industry.

The roots of this are also deeply linked to Fabio Perini work as inventor that has also contributed to the ongoing development of key innovations in the nautical field with Perini Navi and visionary real estate integrated developments as the Perini Business Park in Brazil.
